Academy M offers informal mentoring to Millennials, also known as Generation Y. Encouraging a relationship that will be nourished in an environment that is unstructured, casual, and natural. The mentors are volunteers assigned to a mentee through a mentor matching system, promoting career development. The mentoring relationships can last a week, months, or a lifetime.
Academy M provides the following mentoring models: One-on-One Mentoring, Virtual Mentoring, Reverse Mentoring, Peer Mentoring and Group Mentoring. Once a mentee has completed his/her program they will be a better critical thinker, listener, have a stronger purpose and a desire to mentor others.
